Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 until 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy communication director (2009-2011), spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015 and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was an CNN political contributor from 2017 and 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001, as an official political contributor for CNN. She was involved in the elections for the re-elections of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was later named the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and also as the regional press secretary for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. [20] It was speculated that she would replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21But, Josh Earnest was announced to succeed Carney on May 30, 2014. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications. she was there until the end of Obama's presidency.
